Project #21630
This Manhattan kitchen remodel illustrates how smart design can dramatically open up and brighten a narrow galley space. The original kitchen was weighed down by dark cabinetry, bulky appliances, and busy backsplash tile. In the after photo, clean white cabinetry, floating shelves, and a bright subway tile backsplash create an airy, modern look. Matte black floor tiles anchor the room, while streamlined lower cabinets enhance both storage and flow. The space now feels wider, lighter, and far more functional—ideal for cooking and entertaining in an urban apartment. This before and after shows how a dated Manhattan kitchen can be transformed into a minimalist design statement.
Block simplifies the chaos and costs of construction by bringing design, sourcing, and vetted contractors all under one roof.
