Brooklyn, NY
City Chic Apartment
After a devastating flood left our client displaced for over a year, she took matters into her own hands and drafted the initial drawings for her apartment’s renovation. Determined to restore her home to its former glory, she poured her heart into the design, despite the overwhelming challenges she faced. However, the journey was far from smooth—most notably due to a hostile management team that added layers of difficulty to an already complex situation. But we were right there with her every step of the way. At times, we even found ourselves acting as mediators and facilitators, helping to smooth over tense conversations and ensuring the approval process went forward. After months of back-and-forth, we were finally able to secure the necessary approvals and move forward with the renovation. As part of the process, we took on the responsibility of purchasing and storing all the bathroom materials in our warehouse, ensuring everything was ready to go when it was time for installation. When the materials were finally installed, we were beyond thrilled to see the vision come to life. Months later, we returned to take some photos of the finished space. It was incredibly rewarding to see our client still just as enamored with the apartment as she was when we first started the project. The transformation was a true testament to her resilience, her vision, and the collaborative effort it took to turn a difficult situation into a beautiful new chapter in her life.
