At first glance, the after looks similar to the before photo. But there are actually a lot of changes. The kitchen cabinets on the exterior wall were extended, and an appliance garage added at the end. The lower cabinets are semi-custom cherry wood cabinets. The window was enlarged, re-centered, and a custom window frame was added. The microwave hood was replaced with a chimney hood (the microwave was moved to the island). The unused desk area was replaced with double pantries and a coffee bar area. The backsplash is a white and gold marble mosaic.
